Akaroa Tree £135 |
Trying something new - visual dynamics and energy. This is a freer painting based on a photograph of a stunted tree on Banks Peninsular, South Island, NZ. Started with a fairly accurate painting of the tree then concentrated on the negative space. The tree has been stripped bare by the wind. |

St Andrew's lit with low winter sun. Took a lot of licence with the colour scheme as the building is much greyer! |

Bagger Vance £325 |
Tried to capture the likeness of a popular film star. Enjoyed this film and Will Smith's role as Bagger Vance, set in the American depression. I liked the clothes of this era. I was happy with the result. The face is gentle and the light warm. |
